About WDA 2025
Building communities promotes collaboration and communication for change.
The 73rd Annual International Conference of the Wildlife Disease Association will be held in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada from July 27 to August 1, 2025, at the Victoria Conference Centre.
For WDA 2025 we are thrilled to continue a rich conversation about wildlife health started in multiple local, national and international venues among diverse peoples. We will use concepts of Community, Collaboration, and Communication to direct the sharing of relationships and methods used by regional First Nations, those further afield, and including all communities and One Health practitioners.
In addition to themed sessions, workshops and presentations, the many ways we learn, teach and share will be highlighted by invited speakers and discussions on wildlife health and stewardship of the land, water and sky and the animals sharing those ecosystems. We emphasize and promote the use of respectful listening, storytelling and advocacy for conference attendees to engage with their audiences in presenting their ideas, research, and results.
Plan to add your voice to the conversation in Victoria for WDA 2025 and continue building communities to promote collaboration and communication for change.
